Programs For Your Health
Whatever you ingest will affect how you feel, think and function. Lower-income communities are more deeply affected by poor access to a good quality, healthy food supply within the communities in which they live work.
According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, within the black and brown
communities, morbidity and mortality rates are higher than other ethnicities on which Crenshaw Health Partners is focused by decreasing those rates and more through our efforts to promote health and improve health literacy. We believe that if you know better, and you’re serious about improving the way that you and your loved ones feel, you’ll do better.
The Healthy Living Workshop
We work in collaboration with health-related corporate interests, professional associations, faith and community-based organizations as we provide resourceful information through interactive workshops and seminars presented by nutritionists, bio-scientists and other certified health experts throughout the year. This interactive program provides clarification of the various types of dietary lifestyles for all family members -- infants, teens, young adults, middle-aged and senior adults. Although poor nutrition is regularly identified, we believe the ‘how & why’ must be understood regarding good nutrition as it assists in the improvement of various health conditions and overall health.
